Aiona Island Realty, LLC
Big Island, Hilo & East Hawaii Info

Many know Hawai’i as an attractive tourist destination with beautiful scenery, mild weather, friendly people and a host of cultural and recreational opportunities. The youngest island in the Hawaiian chain, the “Orchid Isle” is better known as the “Big Island”. The Big Island is the largest and southernmost island of the state of Hawai’i, yet is known for the state’s most favorable real estate pricing. The East side of the Big Island features: one of two major centers of commerce, a deep-water port, the island’s largest medical facility and hosts an international airport. One can enjoy a wealth of festivals and cultural events, dining and shopping opportunities, gardens and parks, year-round outdoor activities, historical sites and art galleries. Winter snow capped mountains can be enjoyed in the morning and ocean shores explored in the afternoon. These elements, and others, make Hawai’i’s Big Island not only an excellent place to live or retire to, but a wonderful location for a second home.
